Prior to me receiving my emergency room bill from either the hospital and the emergency care associates of Indiana for physician care -
I received a very strong letter from your company informing me to ask my "insurance company to reprocess the claim at a higher insurance allowable amount ". I am fact called my insurance company and they stated that they processed it properly and to call reimbursement technologies and ask them to file an appeal or ask for a negotiation for a larger amount .
When I called your company to inform them of this-
I was yelled at and intimidated by your employee to pay the ENTIRE remaining balance of my bill after my insurance company paid their portion-
and with the EOP stating my portion of the bill was a much lesser amount.
The Indian man would not stop yelling at me even when I had asked him to stop. Further I informed him that I would pay the bill once I received my bill and the EOB informing me of my responsibility of payment. He demanded the entire remaining balance of the bill after insurance payment -for me to pay in full.
never in my 30 years of being a registered nurse handling bills both personally and for others have I ever experienced this.
I am very concerned that this could be a fictitious company or at minimum a very unprofessional abusive organization .
I would not recommend for any organization to use reimbursement technologies Inc. for their patient account billing services.
