I purchased a new Yamaha 242 S. I called in Thursday around 3pm and 24hrs later Jeff was delivering my new boat to my doorstep. The boat is gorgeous the deal was amazing and the customer service is superior........... UPDATE.....I've had the boat for 4 months now. Do not buy Yamaha Jet Boats. They do not tell you that the boats are not MMEA 2k compatible and aftermarket fish finders and nav units cannot be connected to the engines. They do not even have an adapter or gateway available. If you're serious about boating/fishing and not just piddling around in the river do not buy a Yamaha jet boat. If you call Yamaha customer service people just try to get you off the phone or direct you to a dealer instead of making an actual effort to come up with a solution. Thanks for a 70k usless playtoy Yamaha. I'll remove this review when Yamaha provides me with a way to use the electronics in my boat that I choose. Not their proprietary Connext junk. Update.......8-8-20.More great stuff from YAMAHA! Now the ignition panel has just fallen off. Apparently not strong enough glue??? for Florida heat. Is this thing assembled with glue sticks? Thats sire what it look like. Maybe 5200 next time or maybe a mechanical fastner that doesn't use glus??? Seriously guys?? 70k for this junk???? Does lemon law apply to boats???Thanks for a quality 2020 BRAND NEW boat falling apart after 4 months. LOL WHAT A JOKE THIS GARBAGE IS!!!!!! DONT BUY YAMAHA!!!
