Pretty place to camp, stayed at the Shinleaf camp ...

Pretty place to camp, stayed at the Shinleaf camp ground. I liked the looks of it, nice views of the water and the facilities were kept very clean. The issues that caused my 2 star review is reserving the spot online I was not aware of the significant distance of the hike to the spot, had to make several trips hand carrying our stuff in. Also there is a lot of noise, boats are motoring fast on the lake at 6am and all day long, plus about every 5min a plane flys over do the proximity to RDU.
