Joseph Smeraldi Review of MARVİN
Poor Quality
Poor Quality
I paid $3600 for three custom Marvin windows. I was looking for the highest quality windows with the longest warranty. I was assured that these were my best option. The order took over two months. The day of installation I opened the plastic wrap and immediately notices large amount of caulk on the window. Upon further inspection there was caulk on the trim and even small paint splatters on the glass. Not knowing what return/repair options were available, and since the store was closed, I stopped the installation and emailed the store. They contacted Marvin who scheduled a tech to come to my house. They arrived 4 weeks later. The tech said he had never seen windows look this bad. He also found interior scratches between the glass. He said he would talk to him team and get back to me. A week later I called Marvin service asking about refund options. I was told they already ordered three new replacement windows and return was not an option. Since I ordered black windows they were now going to use black caulk. Another production error. I explained that I didn t trust the quality or craftsmanship of these windows anymore and was not going to spend another 20k+ on their products for the rest of my house. They said it was too late.
Sharing this so other homeowners dont make the same mistake. Marvin is poor quality. Despite the fact that they get an inspection sticker, these windows were not inspected. They had paint on the glass, they used cream caulk on black frames, there was caulk on the glass, the glass had interior scratches. The frames also wobble signifigantly. If these defects are detectable within seconds, what about the rest of the components? I dont trust these windows and would not recommend Marvin.
