Let me start by saying that I work for an auto dealer, and I understand the daily challenges of running a successful, profitable, well-reviewed service department. I also understand that quality of service can vary day to day, and customer to customer. On this day, with this customer, the experience was fantastic. I drove 265 miles to have my BMW serviced at Schomp and will do so again. Everyone I came into contact with in the service department was friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely concerned with the quality of care I received. All of my questions were answered promptly by my advisor Jenna, and the loaner (which they gave me for an entire week to accommodate my overbooked summer schedule) was fantastic. Being able to communicate via text was a great boon to me, as I'm always on the phone for my job. I look forward to driving the Zed now that the injectors have been replaced!
I will admit, though, that I felt a bit prejudged by some staff while wandering the sales floor, as if I was out of place based upon my age (28) or my appearance.
