Unfortunately I ve had occasion to go to this hospital over the last 10 years and each experience was worst than the one before. I would give 0 stars if that were an option. Now a friend of mine recently had a heart attack, was rushed to this hospital and has now passed away from complications after being in Cedar Park Regional Hospital s care for 19 days. He endured 4 infections including MRSA. The doc attending him admittedly incorrectely took out his breathing tube and caused devastating results. Needlessly to say if you value your life and that of your children, find another place to be seen. My family drives to Dell Children s and St David s Round Rock for emergencies. The ER doctors and staff at Cedar Park Regional Hospital appear to be incompetent. It seems as if only new medical school graduates are employed at this hospital along with nurses who are biding their time until retirement. Don t believe the sign that says 7 min wait . Each time I ve been to Cedar Park Regional Hospital, most recently with a friend who was ill, we waited over 30 min to be checked in and there were only two people in the lobby who had already been checked in. The nurses behind the desk continued laughing and joking. We waited another 45 min to be seen before giving up and heading to Seton NW.
