Booked a room for three nights and was looking forward to getting here after driving six hours on a Sunday. Parked my truck and trailer, packed my bag from the gravel lot, know I would have to go back and hang the tag in the window so they know what the license plate number is. But since my last stay, they have incorporated a new hoop to jump through, and asked for my registration, proof of insurance, and a copy of my ID. So after I check in, pack my bags to the room, I go back out and retrieve the documents they requested from the truck. So when I got back to the desk, I was helped be a different person who asked me how many vehicles I had, I replied that I am one person and can only operate one at a time. Not liking my comment, she said, sometimes trucks have two drivers, I replied, still for only one truck, and she was so upset, she needed a time out and needed to step away. I told her that would be a good idea. The staff was not trained well. I liked staying here because it is the most convenient place for me to stay, but I don t think I like all the hoops they expect their paying customers to jump through just to park. Do they ask the people who are there to gamble for their proof of insurance and registration? I have Never stayed anywhere in the world where they need proof of insurance and your registration. They didn t even offer me a ride out to my truck! Had to hoof it in the rain twice! Very disappointed! I ve been coming here for two years now, and every time it s something extra. The first few times they didn t care where I parked, the last time, they just needed the tag in the window, now this. What s next DNA samples, fuel samples? I m done with this place!
