This is a must when you're visiting NYC. It's not cheap ($72) for a couple to go up to the observation deck, but the views are spectacular. We went on a Saturday due to our cruise ship schedule, so the crowd was large and the wait was about 40 minutes. You can get there by taxi or subway. Subway is cheap and the attendants are very helpful.
