Like others, we've been going to Stuckey for 10+ years, but this was the last year. When we got there yesterday, we quickly realized that unless we paid $12.50 per person to enter the fall festival (which we weren't interested in) - we we're limited to a small section of the orchard. Furthermore, that small section really only had one variety of decent apples (golden delicious). I don't get it, we are going to pay for the apples we picked, but apparently that's not enough for Stuckey. We truly appreciate local farmers and try to support them as much as possible, but something about this setup didn't jive with us
