The team I play for practices here five times a week. Four out of those five times we end up getting on the ice later than scheduled due to the Zamboni (either the resurfacing starts late due to the prior practice or the Zamboni has to stop halfway through to get more water or because something broke). In my many years of playing I have never had to wait because of Zamboni "malfunctions", in fact this rink was the first one I've seen it happen at. The ice is often very poorly resurfaced and retains many of the ruts from the previous practice or game. There are often uneven surfaces while skating and there were repeated drips on the top rink that were sectioned off and were clearly not fixed for weeks at a time. The corners have deep drop offs where sticks and skates can get stuck as well. the locker rooms are fairly small for a full team of players (we had a smaller team) and the equipment inside them (whiteboards, hooks, etc.) Were either missing or broken. The attached bathrooms were just as bad. The showers take forever to heat up and sometimes never do, the soap dispensers are broken most of the time and the stall doors don't shut. The lights are often out or flickering as well and stayed that way for days at a time. All in all a very poorly maintained rink, both in terms of ice and equipment.
