Extremely disappointing stay from Monday June 28 until today July 2, 2020. Had to wait over two hours to get in our $1000+ night parlor room; asked for ice to be delivered and it never came; spa was not available for massages (one of the main reasons we went!!!); our room was directly next to the outdoor dining patio and we could hear every conversation; the room furnishings looked like a high-schooler picked them out (poor design AND quality; there was no daily servicing of our room; and the dinner menu was extremely limited. Maybe for $150-200 per night it would have been ok, but NOT FOR $1000+! The Manager Michelle said they were struggling to get staff because the rich Federal unemployment benefits dissuaded employees from returning: ok, then set appropriate expectations and proper pricing for guests. I will say those staff who were there were very courteous, as were we, but it will be a long, long time before we consider returning, and we have been there many times. And I am a Marriott Bonvoy member!
