I have since requested a VAT receipt twice with no response and have so far spent an hour on hold.

They offer a call back service after half an hour. Am I really going to get a call back if you can't answer a simple email?

Imagine if I was trying to place an order!

I might take up this call back option and report on how many days I wait.
