Over 2000 animals from across the globe. See native and exotic species, Lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!). Several reptile and amphibian areas for the ectotherm enthusiast. And the amount of conservation that goes on here is astounding. There are several programs where captive bred animals are released to the wild, helping endangered and threatened populations. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there's always something new to see. There's an animal show, dinosaur exhibit (until early July 2018 for now), and a new state of the art great ape exhibit scheduled to open later this year. Support your local zoo, they do more than you think!
