"the cheel" offers patrons an authentic immersion into the native spice profiles of Nepal and neighboring lands. Barkha Limbu Daily, restaurateur and creative power behind all that is cheel, exhibits a mastery level of care and craft regarding every entree on the menu. The addition of family reciepts, coupled with farm fresh components, lifts what some refer to as "ethnic dining" into the realm of authentic cultural experience.
Furthermore, "the cheel" does not shy away from challenging proteins such as wild bore or camel, but bodly showcases how these proteins can be elevated to something extraordinary.
Aside from the incredible food, the warm and welcoming staff create an environment where service exceeds expectation. I was particulary impressed with Drew K. (GM) and the drink pairings he recommended to compliment our meal. Overall, the best dinning experience found north of Chicago.
