My wife and I were recently married and decided to spend a weekend in Cambridge for a little getaway. We stayed at the Commander hotel on the second night of our trip.
The hotel is beautiful.
It has alot of the older features that give it character, but it's also updated and modern, very welcoming.
Our room was very comfortable. We spent most of our time exploring Harvard square, so we didn't really explore the inside of the hotel. There is a lot of history in that building on display.
My favorite thing about traveling is to learn something new or see something new, so taking the cemetery tour right down the street, dining in Harvard Square, taking in the rich history of Cambridge was so much fun.
The Front Desk agents that checked us in and out were friendly. I did call down for something from the room, the lady was very pleasant and helpful. The valet guys were very friendly.
The only bad thing I could see was the size of the bathroom. The size of the bathroom doesn't matter to me, but if it matters to you understand this before you check in as it's not something they can control.
