On October 6th I sent this e-mail to the Better Living Products of Canada in Woodbridge, ON.
"Re: AVIVA Two Chamber Shower Dispenser with Shower Basket
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been debating whether I should put this on my review of your product on the web or write to you first, so here it is.
We have just moved into a house in Hamilton and found that two bathrooms have your Aviva Two Chamber Shower Dispensers with baskets. I was shocked to see how rusty they were especially after I saw the same product advertised at the Home Outfitters store (just two blocks away from us at the Lime Ridge Mall) with a big sign Rust Resistant . I asked the sore Manager if I should bring the products to him to complain and he told me that he does not deal with faulty advertising that I should approach the manufacturer directly.
What do you suggest I do with my rusty dispensers? Everything I put on them gets stained orange. I would appreciate it very much if you would let me know what I should do with them, with thanks...."
I have pictures I took at the store and a few I took of my dispensers. There was no option to attach the pictures to my e-mail but I asked them to sent me another address and I would attach the pictures. They may not be the best quality photos but if they don t convince them that I was telling the truth I invited them to visit us and see for themselves.
You would think that by now they would at least acknowledge the receipt of my e-mail but I have not heard from anyone and so I decided to write my comment and express my disappointment in such a company. A common curtsy or the basic service requirement is to at least acknowledge the e-mail and let me know if they are willing to replace my rusty baskets (bottles are fine, but baskets are useless) or they have some other suggestions. I would like to let all the interested customers not to trust the Rust Resistant sign on these products because they sure go rusty very quickly.
