I have a 2005 BMW X3. I ordered new lower control arms forward and rearward and new ball joints. Upon installing the new parts the lock nut for the ball joint would not seat correctly engaging the nylon lock washer. I tried calling but there is no person to talk to you have to email only. Ughhh. So I found all the parts locally and drove to go get them. Upon getting back home I realized that the problem was the control arm was updated and now thicker than the original. So there is an updated ball joint. Rock Auto obviously didn t know that but they should have it was updated in 2010. I asked for a full refund of shipping since I had paid for express service so I could be sure and have the parts but they said they would only refund shipping on the parts I am returning. That is not good customer service in my opinion. I would not recommend them due to inaccuracy and not being able to talk to someone when there is an issue. We had emailed a few times and then I emailed again 10 minutes later and it said sorry email didn t go through because this ticket was closed. That is not good customer service because they kept ignoring my request for a full refund of shipping and kept saying we will refund shipping of parts that you are returning. Do not recommend RockAuto!
