The hotel is ideally situated, adjacent to the train and bus stations and a large shopping mall. My second-floor room at the rear of the building was clean and tastefully decorated, and the en suite bathroom was great. However ... the wardrobe was tiny, with only 4 clothes hangers, and as most of the space was already occupied by an ironing board, iron and trouser press, there was very little actual 'hanging' space. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. But I was awakened VERY early the next morning by the alarming crashing of an enormous quantity of glass below my window .. it sounded like a glass avalanche, and it was repeated several times. I should have stipulated a quiet room when booking! The buffet-style breakfast was good with an excellent range of hot and cold items. Lunch-time and evening meals were also good, but beware, because the portions are generous. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
