The company was great until I got moved to the product side under Jeff patterson. Once I started working for him we gradually lost all of the perks to the job until there were none. It got to the point where most of us were commuting 4 hours a day on our own time to go work for this company. You could never get ahold of your supervisor when you needed to so you never knew if you were gonna be working or not. We would go a stretch where we would work crazy hours for a few weeks then not hear anything for a couple weeks. Under his leadership its was made evident the company didnt see the workers as anything other than property. Unless you were on the in, if you live in buckhannon you'll probably be fine and they will probably take care of you. If your considering this company for oil and gas you would be far better suited elsewhere as you wont advance in highpoint. They have guys with upwards of 10 years of experience making just a few more dollars on the hour than the new guy. In summary, you can do much better
