Signed up with confidence at this language school....

Signed up with confidence at this language school. But rather it seems to me purely to rake in money. They let you sign for a "no refund policy", which is strange of course. Anyway, I just want to go to school to learn the language, so I chose to draw.

Now both parties have been affected by Covid-19 which prevents me from officially starting my classes as I cannot activate my student visa.

I have already paid half, which has cost them no effort at all to request papers. I have asked for a refund but then indicate that you have signed for a "no refund policy". However, the website states otherwise. Namely that they can give a refund for "exceptional circumstances, judged on a case by case basis". If this was a good management they would understand people are facing problems at this time.

I am not the only one who has already made a deposit. There have been mutual contacts between prospective students who also feel cheated because they can no longer stay in the country or have already had to leave. So you have paid for something that you cannot use. They simply indicate that you can learn online.

This has to do with a bit of unprofessionalism within the organization and the regulations. A good company and management will choose to give a refund instead, especially within this situation. But they rather developer a bad name.

The refund is no longer important to me, but that I can tell my story as it went. I therefore advise everyone not to join forces with this school.
