My daughter and I had a 2 hour surf lesson from Andrew. She went from complete beginner to catching waves during the lesson and I think Andrew's coaching had a lot to do with that. I have surfed about a dozen times and already have been picking up some bad habits that Andrew was quickly able to identify and have me implement change during the lesson.
There are plenty of options for surf coaching in Raglan - I think it is unlikely you will not get the kind of personal attention that Andrew provides with other groups.
