The cops in my zone make it clear not to bother them you're on your own the law is not on your side. Even when you have all the evidence required it does no good when the ones in charge of investigating refuse to and treat you like you're inconveniencing them. These people don't get out their cars, look at evidence, or look for perps if they aren't home, they won't let you press charges or even write reports. You will be scolded, interrupted, ignored, belittled, and given lots of eye rolls and attitude you're better off calling a teen for protection than the officers here. I have a feeling I'll see them on Grady's podium of shame one-day soon I heard they're getting cameras with attitude like that they will mess up.
