I normally keep my comments to myself where I know the big shots will only look at these comments as cry baby drivers. If you're OTR and don't come on the regular, take this advice. COME WITH A FRESH CLOCK!! You will end up burning your day, regardless if you're logging your line 4 or not, you will be here more than 2-3 hours. Today it took 3 hours just to get on a dock. I just check after an hour waiting and they still haven put one pallet on.
This location is to small for the amount of traffic in here. I understand they will say they cant move due to environmental issues which will make it hard to sell the property. This is a OSHA time bomb in the waiting. A driver that is weak in backing and negotiating tight areas is just looking for a hood to take off.
You have to give up your keys or they won't load you. Theres a run down utility shed that serves as the drivers (would be an insult to say lounge) waiting area. Ok the A/C works but since we stuck here for hours on end, you gotta break out the creature comforts. The one mens room toilet shared by the dock and drivers, come on now! It doesn't even fill the tank for a good flush. I'm sure management, and the owners know very well what's going here and just like on the movie Which Way Is up! Nothing matters as long as the product is moving.
