If my father had passed away only 8 hours later he...

If my father had passed away only 8 hours later he would have held (and regularly paid for) a Senior Life insurance policy for 2 years. But because this company has the right, NOT obligation, to contest a policy when a death has occurred within 2 years of acceptance, the company is holding our benefit. The benefit is a small amount, only enough to pay for final costs. I have spoken to only one person in the claims department; no one else will speak with me, even out of apology or compassion. I have emailed, no response. In a business that is dealing with people already grieving, I find this lack of care appalling. My father honestly completed the application and never missed a payment. If someone from the company communicates with me and delivers the benefit we are entitled to, I will gladly post that on this review. Is there anyone at Senior Life who really cares about the ones who placed their trust in them?
