I've always enjoyed Surly beer, but this new location is perpetually overcrowded with tourists and suburbanites, serves overpriced food, and doesn't seem to handle reservations well at all. I'd much prefer a more intimate beerhall experience over this chrome gymnasium, and luckily Minneapolis is lousy with them.
