We decided to come to this hotel for the space themed room. My son loves space, and so does my daughter, so we thought it would be a fun family get away and a great way to spend his birthday. They were super stoked about the room when they saw it!!!

In the room there are time capsule bunk beds, and they have a curtain that pulls down. There were NO screws in my son's, and it fell onto him. It took maintenance an hour to come by to fix it, and when they did, they did not put it into the clips correctly. So after telling us how to move it up and down as though that was the issue, I was putting it down GENTLY and the entire thing fell onto my arm.

I went to the front office to talk with the manger after the first time this happened, as having a curtain fall in a child's bed is NOT SAFE. He explained to me that they are there for fun, and decoration, and that they expect parents to watch their kids so they don't break things. He, the manager John, does not have children himself and did not think that his comments to me were condescending; yet, they were. My husband was with our son the first time the curtain fell on him and he had barely touched the thing, and the second time it fell I was the one that gently put it down and the entire curtain again crashed down.

To make it up to us, they offered us free breakfast for all 4 of us, and 2 passes for the water park but he disagreed that he was being condescending. He hoped that was O.K.

For anyone that has kids will know that when you're getting them to bed late because its a fun night, but then it takes 2 hours of fixing a bed, and a total of 3 hours to finally get kids to bed, plus the manager being an absolute joy to speak with...the $400.00 price tag seems insane. I was hoping for some time with my husband alone after the kids were asleep, but after this ordeal, I doubt we even manage to fit in hottub time.

Just don't stay here. It's not worth it. Go to the theme park or water park for a day, then stay at a hotel near by.
