For 3 years I had neck and shoulder pain that included numbness in my arm and hand. I tried other chiropractors, physical therapy, yoga, stretching, and massage therapy. Nothing helped, and over time it got much worse. I finally went to an orthopedic because the pain was constant and becoming unbearable. More PT, and then finally an MRI which showed 2 herniated discs in my neck. Next step was cervical injections and if that didn t help, surgery. I was not a fan of those options. I went to Dr. Raj about 20 years ago for other issues. Back then, when other chiropractors and doctors didn t help, he did. So I made the appointment to see if Garden State Spine & Pain could once again help. The first few appointments were very difficult, very painful, and left Dr. Graison and myself unsure if chiropractic care and PT would help. I might need to think about orthopedic options. But I stayed consistent and followed all the advice and direction Dr. Lanzano and Dr. Graison. After about 3 weeks I started to notice some relief. Each week I was feeling better and better. And now, 4 months later, I have no pain or discomfort at all! And after 3 years of not being able to exercise at all because any physical activity caused more pain, I am now back to jogging and I am able to start low weight exercises.
