Love this place! Not only is the art museum itself...

Love this place! Not only is the art museum itself great displaying many types of artworks in a minimalist way, but also because of the large open areas surrounding the facility.

There is a large grassy area adjacent to the Menil that's perfect for a picnic, relaxing and reading a book, or just taking a nap. You have the option of being under the shade as there many large trees throughout, but you can also lay out in the sun if you choose to.
