Husband drove me in with chest pain, history of cardiac, sweats and weakness. EKG done, and then returned me to waiting room. I never had my vitals taken, nor my temperature. I never got seen. Later we learned the EKG had some changes (abnormalities) but nothing indicating major blockage. There's probably not much difference between a bed inside the hospital versus seated just outside in the waiting room. However, I would have liked my blood pressure results, my temp, and my pulse. I just was left there, neglected and quite ill. Unmonitored the whole time, in the waiting room. They truly didn't care. I don't know where to take my concerns because this seems to be the accepted standard of care.
