Do NOT hire these guys to inspect anything! They hire clueless idiots who learned welding procedures from a BOOK and have never stuck an arc in their lives. Can't tell an arc burn from pipe dope residue. Make you cut out welds for the stupidiest reasons that have nothing to do with structural integrity or safety AND, change procedures and policies in the middle of the job! Several of the inspectors think THEY are running the job, not simply INSPECTING the welds on the job. One even has the audacity to intrude his person upon the welders in the ditch to 'give pointers'. They alienate more contractor employees and cause extreme and continual agitation on jobs resulting in higher production costs and cost over runs. One wonders for whom they work. I certainly wouldnt have them on the site after witnessing their behavior both on a off job sites in North Dakota this past season.
