Current resident. I encourage everyone to believe the negative reviews. I wish I had. Things have gotten so bad, but it s just not worth playing their weird games. They will just tell you to open a work order or tell you to reach out to someone else. Nothing happens. Repeat. Feel crazy. Honestly, it s not worth it. The building is poorly maintained (not because of the maintenance team, but because of Peak). Bugs everywhere. Holes in the hallways for months. Graffiti in the cab of the elevator for months. Not cleaned prior to moving in. Moldy. Much more. It was chaotic and stressful with them from day one. I ve lived in Chicago my whole life. Renting for the last 18 years (3 places). I knew within the first week I would leave after the year with this company. Be careful.
