This Sheraton is located in a good spot a few blocks north of times square away from the crowds. However the hotel is starting to show its age. Many of the amenities are well worn and don't feel very exclusive, but given the size and number of people that stay at this hotel every day, its expected.

As an SPG platinum member, I was offered a room upgrade and the elevator ride up to the top floor was quite exciting. The rooms on the top floors are renovated, and with more modern amenities and great views, but the furniture still looked rather worn. The lounge was located on a lower floor, with a good view of times square. I don't have much to say about the other hotel amenities, because no one should spend all their time in NYC in their room.

The hotel is in a good spot to see times square and Rockefeller plaza, however will require walking and subway travel to many other attractions especially dining in the village. This particular part of midtown would cater much better to business travelers.
