If 0 stars was possible that would be my score. My vehicle was struck by a client of West Bend Mutual Insurance on 11/20 while parked. The driver of the semi truck admitted that he was lost and did not have on his glasses at the time and did not see my vehicle.

I received a call on 11/21 from a claims representative by the name of Steve Sizer. In speaking to him I stated simply that I would like my door fixed as quickly as possible. I am a dialysis patient and also I am employed as an Emergency Communications Operator for the City of Milwaukee Police department. Having a reliable source for transportation is important. Immediately in the initial call Mr. Sizer was rude and short and told me to just have my insurance pay because there was no damage to his clients vehicle.

On 11/22 Mr Sizer then calls me back to say that I would need to just have my insurance pay because there s no damage to his clients vehicle and it appears I opened my door to hit the semi s tire insinuating that I was attempting to commit insurance fraud. I then advised him I would not be calling my insurance when the accident was not my fault and would get a lawyer and pay out of pocket. Mr. Sizer laughed and scoffed and stated How are you going to pay for it and then proceeded to say It doesn t matter you will receive your denial letter in the mail and proceeded to disconnect the call.

I attempted to contact his supervisor and no one returned my call though they were in the office

I m not sure if anyone knows or does business with West Bend Mutual but the level of unprofessionalism displayed by their employees and lack of compassion that I received I will make sure to tell my family friends and colleagues to never do business with a company that employs a representative with this type of abusive and abrasive behavior.
