Valuable items left in the cloakroom in a bag which were returned damaged. When enquiring with the general manager about the damage, I was told that they 'cannot take responsibility for items left in the cloakroom' and they are 'left at the individuals own risk'. I'm unsure of what happened to my belongings, but they must have been thrown or dropped with such a force in order for them to break. The manager allegedly checked the CCTV, but was 'unable to gain more information on the matter' which means they're either lying or there is no security in the cloakroom and bags are really left at your own risk. Very poor customer service from a members club, that's prides itself on it's delivering a better environment for its paying customers.
