My car broke down Feb 28 and I had it towed to Ford Avenues since it was closest and they have done work under my car's warranty before with no problem. I needed a new engine and while it took a month to get one approved by the warranty group, they have had my car and and a like new engine for 6 weeks now. I have been working with Brian who originally told me that it would take a week. Then I was told the technician was being pulled in different directions and couldn't work on my car as much as he would like. Most recently I was told Friday that it would be done yesterday and I could pick it up today. Had a good feeling that it would be done this time. Drove over in rush hour today after work only to be told nonchalantly it was still not done and likely would not be done this week since technician is in school/ class all week!!!! No phone call as a courtesy to save me the trip (and I tried reaching Brian before making the drive). No sense of urgency on their part or understanding that this is no small inconvenience. The service manager hasn't returned my call from last week. I'm trying to be understanding but feel like I'm being lied to and have lost all confidence in their ability to fix my car. Have never had such a bad experience anywhere to complain publicly but this is simply poor service.
