Procedures in the event of a disaster must be reviewed urgently.
I had my motorcycle stolen almost 3 months ago now and still have not been reimbursed by the insurance.
I am forced to call several times a week and fight every step of the way to remedy any nonsense on their part.

- 30 days after the flight I sent the documents to be reimbursed, but they were late

- My motorcycle is finally found, which of course blocks the refund procedure.

- Now I had to spend countless phone calls between insurance, assistance, the pound for more than two weeks (where nothing happens suddenly) for the insurance to finally assume its role and remove the vehicle from the pound for the survey. Indeed, the insurance persisted in saying that it is up to me to manage with my assistance to pay the costs to the pound to get the vehicle out.

- Then my motorbike (which is still under warranty extension) is largely underestimated by the appraisal firm because the insurance has provided bad information to the latter (which I already had to call twice) claiming that I had already been compensated. Indeed the firm did not ask me for any explanation or additional proof to evaluate my motorcycle at its fair value and of course did not ask me if I wanted an evaluation of the price of repair or reimbursement.

- As I'm really fed up and want to end it all, I accepted the (poor) costing and asked to finally be reimbursed. But here again the insurance has the nerve to tell me that it is impossible for them to reimburse me because they do not know if the costing is for a repair or a reimbursement because I did not specify anything with the expert's office. .

To summarize, if you want to have insurance to cover your risk of disaster, avoid it because you will have to arm yourself with a lot of patience not to blow a cable.
