Although I had let my regular maintenance lapse for my Toyota Sienna and had done my annual State inspection at a neighborhood service place instead, when the 'maintenance required' light lit up on my dashboard I knew it was time to camp out at Toyota of Richardson Service Center. I drove up to the garage entrance and got in one of the two lines of cars. Due to the efficiency of their response time only three cars were already in line ahead of my arrival, and very soon I was first on deck. The attendant soon called my regular service representative, Lee S., to come do the paperwork and get me going. Although I elected to wait in one of the comfortable waiting rooms for the extensive work that needed to be done, I knew I had the option of a complementary drive to wherever I needed to go. There are cookies and doughnuts for the customers, and complimentary water bottles, charging stations for devices, a small business center for those who want to work on their laptops, and clean and spacious restrooms. The staff is efficient, respectful, and friendly. They do their best to get you in and out in a timely manner and go the extra mile in service. It's only been my own tight schedule that kept me away for two years, but my car's records of service we're still there and still complete. I won't wait so long the next time State inspection rolls around.
