Fun place to ski with a lot of character and a lot...

Fun place to ski with a lot of character and a lot of potential. The network of trails have a really nice flow and give you many opportunities to switch between them as you head down the mountain. I like that no matter which slope you take, they all drop you by the chair. Nice views from the top and the staff is very friendly. They have a great beginners area and plenty of options for the intermediate to advanced skiers. I am not a trick skiier, but the terrain park here is one of the best/biggest I've seen in the Northeast, and they seem to have a lot of local ski racing events, which don't really impact your time on the slopes but are fun to watch. All in all, I/we really like Whaleback and look forward to skiing it again and again, and also look forward to seeing it evolve/improve as the community/non-profit make investments. If you haven't been, give it a try.
