My doctor requested a test in October and sent through two billing codes. The hospital only sent one code onto the insurance. I ve been calling since October along with my doctor since October to get the second billing code added so my insurance will cover the test and the billing department hasn t been able to help. They say I m not allowed to talk to the people who send the billing codes to the insurance. So I ll just keep calling forever? Because I shouldn t have to pay this bill and my doctor and insurance both agree with me. Incredibly frustrating and I will think twice before ever getting a screening test again.
