This review is not based on the care of the hospital. This hospital is a great facility and has provided great care to a family member.

This review is about the security of the hospital. Today i was there visiting a family member and decided i needed to step outside to get a breath of fresh air. I walked outside of the valet area and within 30 seconds of stepping on the sidewalk i was nearly attacked by a transient person who appeared to be trying to rob me. Fortunately, there was another person there who stepped in to help me get the guy to back off. There were no security guards anywhere to be found at this highly busy area of the hospital. When I notified security of what happened, they were aware of the this guy harassing other people of the hospital and said they did not have enough resources to post a security guard at that area.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of security at this hospital. The last thing I ever thought I would have to worry about when visiting a family member in the hospital is potentially being mugged.
