Zero stars. I'd actually give a zero or negative score if I could. The reason - Manfred Guzman, the service advisor at BMW of Santa Monica, was very unprofessional, impersonal, and discourteous. Mr. Guzman not only displayed poor interpersonal skills, but tried to sell services that my vehicle did not require. I took my car in for a simple oil change. Mr. Guzman quoted me $268.43! I told him other service centers charge about $150 including tax. Not until I called him upon it did Mr. Guzman lower the charge to $153. Mr. Guzman then stated that I needed a plethora of other unnecessary services. In so doing, he quoted exorbitant prices, in thousands of dollars, for these services. Here's an example. Mr. Guzman quoted $1096.58 for a brake fluid change. Unbelievable. Elsewhere, this service would be only a couple hundred dollars. I won't detail the other shady things he tried to pull but one can imagine my dismay and anger by Mr. Guzman's underhanded tactics. His behavior was unbecoming of a BMW employee, as his actions were unethical and borderline unlawful. BMW of Santa Monica should take heed of all the other customer's dissatisfaction of Mr. Guzman's terrible service. BMW of Santa Monica should either reprimand his behavior or terminate his employment completely. I, for one, will not go back to BMW of Santa Monica and will give my business to another dealership due to my horrible experience with Mr. Guzman.
