I recently enjoyed a 2 day experience shopping for a specific type of pre-owned travel trailer at the Fun Town RV Cleburne location. Ed Gentry showed me exactly the types of Trailers I had in mind, he answered my questions honestly and knowledgeably and he was friendly as well as very polite to me and a friend I brought along. Ed knew when to back away and let me take my time walking back and forth between the final 2 trailers I particularly liked. The second day I knew which one I wanted. I called Ed ahead of time and by the time I got there 2 hours later, It was all hooked up. I spent an hour by myself, inside and out, trying everything. The office atmosphere is top notch, cozy and friendly. Ed's manager Mike Eisler gave me a big friendly handshake. Rick Hammonds in Financing was easy to talk to and explained everything well. The service department could use a little improvement. They were 2 hours late getting my travel trailer ready for my final walk-through. Ed apologized, he did not know where the communication had broken down or if the service dept. were just behind schedule. It was close to lunch time and Ed suggested I go to a restaurant nearby. That was fine with me. I paid Fun Town to bring my trailer to my place, about 60 miles. The driver, I think his name was Mike, was very experienced and had no problem backing it on a long driveway from a highway and perfectly on the most level spot available. I also received great advice and help over the phone from a technician, Jim Wilson, a few weeks later. Another improvement the service dept needs to work on: when checking that everything works and there are no leaks, wash the RV with the slide-outs Out. Mine developed a leak during a rainstorm while parked at my place. I calmly talked to Ed, my sales guy, about the problem and what were my options. Ed got back to me in 2 days and said Fun Town would pay to fix it. Its fixed and not leaking! Thank-you Ed Gentry, Mike Eisler and all the rest.
