We booked the family suite for two adults with one...

We booked the family suite for two adults with one child (7 years) for 5 days.
On arrival we were greeted very friendly by the staff (a drink was served) and the registration was easy. When we came to our room, the disillusionment came for a 4-star hotel:

The bathroom was divided into two rooms (a room with a toilet and sink and a room with a bathtub, which had a shower partition), large sink and hair dryer.
The size of the toilet room was an imposition: you had the sink over your lap and absolutely no space in the room. For 5 days we wanted to come to terms with it and accepted it.
The bed (two floors, where you can clatter the upper one and attach a ladder - which was too unsafe for us and we used the lower one), which is located in the living room for children, seemed to be getting very old , creaked and seemed very unstable.
The rest of the furniture was also older and worn (the covers of the seating furniture all had fabric knots and the table in the room had several water marks on the shelf).
The fridge smelled very unpleasant when we opened it, so we didn't even use it.
The balcony was not cleaned at all: the table was dirty and the ashtray on it was broken (plastic broke out), the balcony floor was also not cleaned because it was very sandy.
At first sight the bedroom seemed to be in order, unfortunately we left one day early when we discovered the actual condition of the absolutely unreasonable, disgusting mattress (stains everywhere - see picture).
The location to the beach of the hotel was perfect and the night's sleep was given despite our room location to the parking lot. A plus point was that you could almost completely darken both bedrooms through the curtains. The TV (SZ, WZ) gave about 5 German channels (3 Sat, WDR, VOX, RTLPlus, ...). The remote controls were dirty and one could only be operated to a limited extent.
The port in front of the door was also a highlight. Unfortunately, the shops on the street of the hotel were partially open and quite overpriced.
We had breakfast and dinner included in our booking package. The service from the restaurant gets 5 out of 5 points from us: Always very friendly and always trying to ensure that nothing is missing. The restaurant itself was modern and clean.
The dinner, which we had for 4 days was always very tasty, unfortunately I had a hair in the scrambled eggs at breakfast.
The glass facade of the hotel was also not very attractive, since it has obviously not been cleaned in a long time.

Our conclusion:
The condition of our room and the cleaning concept are not satisfactory for 4 stars and a revision in this regard. would make sense
