I have been a member of this parish since August 2006 after returning to the Church after an approximately 34 year absence. The people of the parish are outgoing and one feels welcomed from the first interaction whether it is with the parish secretary or other parish members at Coffee and Doughnuts served after the 9 am Mass each Sunday that CCD is in session.

This is a downtown parish of approximately 1250 families and few of its members live within the "parish boundary." Its parishioners come from the four points of the compass including Gahanna, Newark, Lancaster, Washington Court House, Galena, Reynoldsburg, Pickerington, Galloway and Reynoldsburg.

One will find this is a parish that is a very active and vibrant parish run by the Dominican Friars of the Eastern Province of St. Joseph who are very knowledgeable, kind, empathetic, and willing to meet the spiritual needs of their congregants. Their love for Jesus and the Church and its members is evident in all each way God calls them to minister to the parish.

The youth program is very active and there is a great CCD program. The teaching and preaching, from the pulpit through CCD classes, is orthodox and is line with the 2000 year teaching of the Church. Incense (at most Masses) and the ringing of bells are used as well as receiving Our Lord at the Communion Rail. The parish supports the Holy Father and the doctrines of the Church. Almost every night there is something for everyone. A Knights of Columbus Council meets here the first Tuesday of the month (Council 11207) as well as the St. Catherine of Sienna Chapter of Lay Dominicans. The choir is wonderful and enhances the prayer of the Mass in angelic tones and voices. If you want to be involved in a parish that is in line with the See of Rome, experience a more traditional style of the Mass, this is the parish to join.

Come join us and worship at a more traditional style of the Mass.
