Pathetic service. Unreliable and absolutely shady business they run!
I asked for a nursing attendant (NA) for palliative care of my father. The team said they arranged for one. When they arrived with the staff at my house, the NA didn't have any company ID. I asked the NA for his past experience he said he has worked at a hospital for 2 months. When I probed further, he couldn't tell the name of the hospital he has worked for. Portea claims to send all background verified staff. When I probed further, they said it would take 48 hours to send the documents. Also, (since the staff had forgotten the ID card at home), it apparently would take them 10-12 days to renew his ID card! the staff wasn't with any uniform or Portea company ID. It almost seemed like they picked a random guy and brought him to us as NA. I am surprised, such agencies are allowed to run shady businesses especially in a field like healthcare. I will be raising this with the concerned authority very soon! Surprised that behind all the glamorous websites and call centers, on-ground execution of core service is managed so poorly!
