Horrible service! I'm beyond disappointed. My parents have bought 2 brand new cars from here, but their pre-owned sales people are definitely behind the game. My dad and I came here on a Saturday and found a Toyota Corolla S we really liked, we test drove it and no problems. The engine however was filthy and the car hadn't been cleaned. The salesman (his name was Avery Bush) claimed it had just been serviced and they hadn't had a chance to clean it, but ensured it would be clean when we bought it. My dad and I decided to hold off on the decision cause we wanted to consult with my mom first.

We returned on Monday and the salesman bought the car up, nice and clean -- so we assumed he'd taken care of it. However, the moment I rolled the car out of the driveway, a sign turned on in the car indicating it had tire issues (so much for servicing!) The engine was also still filthy. I returned a day later to follow up, and the salesperson said it was just a "tire pressure issue" and an easy fix. He told me to return two days later and gave me an appointment. Two days later, we dropped the car off and he promised he'd get the job done. But we returned after FIVE hours, and it still hadn't been fixed! He claimed that the service line at Toyota was extremely long, even though it was a Monday and we had made an appointment with him earlier! On TOP of that, the car had small paint chips across the front that were originally never there!! When we followed up with him about that, he DENIED that it was Toyota (even though they were not there when I bought the car and when I dropped it off that morning) and said that we would have to pay to get it fixed! I could not believe it! I was extremely upset and decided right then and there that I was never buying from Toyota at Richardson EVER again. And despite his terrible service, my dad and I decided to just let it go and fill the tire pressure ourselves as well. Should have been an easy fix, right? NOPE! Even after filling up the pressure, the sign was still there. I did not go to Toyota this time (best decision I made) and went to Discount Tire instead, where they showed impeccable and amazing service - they fixed the tire and got me out of there within 45 minutes at great price. I am extremely disappointed with the overall service of the salesperson (Avery Bush) and the department in general. He was all butterflies and smiles till I bought the car, but after I handed the check over and he made his buck, it was obvious he didn't care about the fact that he didn't fix or service the car as properly as he should have. This car is a Toyota CERTIFIED model by the way...which obviously didn't stand for much in this case.

I returned yesterday for the sole reason of picking up my license plates -- I had a long day at work and left early just to avoid traffic hour. When I arrived, Avery told me he had a "surprise" for me and gave me a spare key for the car (which he had originally said did not exist). I was pretty happy, but then I went outside and tried to use the key and it DIDN'T WORK. I went back inside and asked him why it wasn't working and he claimed it was probably just the battery - an easy fix. I actually went to Toyota service and bought a battery just so the salesperson could put it in, and after he did that, I went to go check and it STILL wasn't working on my car. Turns out, the key had never been programmed to my car...which meant he had lied to me once again. I had gone into Toyota the first time for a tire pressure issue, and left with a flat tire, car paint chips, and a pounding headache. I came in to Toyota again yesterday, and left after an hour in traffic again, with a key that didn't work and another pounding headache.

I have been to Toyota more times in a month for a 2012 Toyota Corolla than I had ever been for my 1999 Honda CRV. This is my very first car purchase, and the car was full of minor problems that were never attended to, which kept me stressed as I had a full-time job and dropping off at Toyota every other day wasn't exactly on my agenda. Worse experience ever!
