I am currently writing this review in the lobby waiting to check into the margaritaville hotel.. It's currently 4:45, and rooms are supposed to be guaranteed for 4pm. We've been here since 3. We called a week ago and requested a room by the elevator. They said they don't have any rooms by the elevator ready. They offered us a room on the first floor which has a "patio," as she put it. However the "patio" is literally the hallway people walk down to get to the room, no chairs. Plus the room was old and the bottom of door was rusted. Basically the worst room they have. Thanks, but no thanks at over $300 a night. All the front desk check in people are caddy and uninviting. And the manager, or the one dressed in more business casual clothing and not a uniform, sees people complaining and doesn't even address the situation. Honestly, I'm you're guest. Please don't treat me like "I'm lucky to have a room here." I'm beyond livid with the way this hotel is managed. They really should have some type respect for their guests. Honestly the only reason they're busy is because the location. Other than that it's not worth it. It's over priced and it's not like they even treat you well. I've worked in hospitality and whoever is the management PLEASE FIX YOUR STAFF'S ATTITUDE! I can't stress this enough. And Please offer something to rectify this situation.
