Do not associate yourself with this company when looking for a better outcome in life. I was on the rapid rehousing waiting list for the longest and when they finally called me to come in for orientation, i thought my troubles were OVER. Wrong! I went to the orientation, brought everything that was needed and was very attentive to the information that was given to me. I told them that i was married, with 2 babies and one on the way. I also told them that i had a situation that was pending on my bg but it shall get dismissed in no time. Miss. Tiffany & Miss. Lauren told me, OH THATS NOT AN ISSUE! We ve worked with married couples all the time but the best advice that i can give you is, he can t stay in the apartment for 3 months because we are paying for your rent and once you part ways with us, we can simply help him get on the lease with you. They also told me OH WE HAVE CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS WITH THESE CERTAIN APARTMENTS THAT CAN LOOK PASS YOUR BG AND GET YOU IN they gave us a zip code full of areas and told us we can look ourselves. Miss Lauren was new and i thought that she was very trustworthy. NO! She is a liar. So at first everything was fine. I did everything of what was asked. I only had a few options to choose from which were in very drug infested areas (SPRING RIDGE 1 & 2, MANDALAY PALMS, & CARROSEL (typo) APARTMENTS) i wasn t happy with the area because i have 2 little girls as well as I m pregnant but i didn t complain because of my pending situation on my background. So as weeks went bu Miss Lauren started to get harder and harder to reach but I m still being patient because again this was a blessing, but as soon as my cases got dismissed that s when everything changed. I felt like since that was holding me back and no longer is a trial In my life that i can look around in better areas because the apartment i was looking at one Spring Ridge was in a bad area, they wanted me to pay a $300 admin fee and the rent was $1000.00. No. When i can pay that In a better area for not only myself but for my children. So a situation occurred where i need the process to hurry up because it s been 2 months passing but due to my cases getting dismissed, That s when i get told by Mrs Lauren oh well I m helping more important people that are actually on the streets and who needs my help ASAP wait? So because i have a better situation, I m no longer important. It got so bad that i had to reach out to the supervisor Mrs.Tasha about what was going on because Miss Lauren would never reply to my emails as well as when i was told to call her cell phone by the front desk lady, she got mad and told me to never call her personal cell again but yet you have it all over your email that you USE to send in a quick manner. So i told Mrs. Tasha What was going on and she told me she would give me a call ASAP. Literally 2 1/2 weeks has past and i just literally called her TODAY and she told me this We can t help you because YOURE MARRIED (but i told them this in the orientation that i was married and they told me that it was fine, just know that my husband can t stay for the 3 months they are paying for the rent and once the 3 months has past then they ll help him get on the lease because they did that with other married couples) and then she told me you re age (wait? I m 24 which is the age requirement for the 3 month program and I ve been trying to get placed in something since LAST YEAR and i won t be 25 until May 2018). So you mean to tell me, you lingered me on for months just to say you don t help married couples but yet you wanted my HUSBAND to pay for the $300 admin fee and because of my age when you knew this already. Mrs Tasha even forgot to place me on MUTE after she made a threatening remark and i told her loud and clear you know you re suppose to place the phone on mute and then talk crap right? She then gets quiet and said they can t help me but have access to me and my kids information. I could of found another alternative for me and my 2 and 1 year old girls instead of waiting on a so called godly organization !
