"Okay" experience. First when I called to book my appointment, I was put on hold for 8 minutes, when they answered, I asked for my service and then was hung up on (probably an accident), when I called back I was put on hold again. After waiting on hold again, someone answered the phone, asked what I wanted and then asked me to hold. I was then answered by another person who then finally booked in my appointment for me. When arriving at the spa (I came on a Saturday a couple weeks ago, I understand that Saturday's are busy, but you should staff accordingly), it was so busy and crazy going on that no one from the front desk acknowledged me entering the spa for almost 10 minutes when I asked an aesthetician walking by me where I should go to wait and she finally connected one of the front desk staff to me. I was then brought into the waiting area where I was politely offered a drink, however there must have been a bridal party in the spa, because the entire waiting area was covered in snacks and booze (I'm under the impression that Artistic is not liquor licensed and should not be allowing alcohol in their facilities anyways..). I was then taken to the polish area and asked to pick a polish colour (not a large selection of colours either) to start my pedicure 10 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to begin. Once I had gone back to the waiting area with my selected polish, I was sat down in the pedicure chair and they soaked my feet, then walked away for another 5-10 minutes just leaving me there.. did not offer a magazine or anything. The aesthetician doing my service was lovely. She was funny and nice. My pedicure was only average in the end though, I don't blame the aesthetician as I'm sure they have protocols for each service, but for the price I paid, I was quite disappointed. I will probably not be returning to Artistic. My usual spot does a much better job and makes you feel much more welcome with services that make you feel pampered from start to finish.
