Small, but nice, museum describing the 1972 world chess championship and Bobby Fischer's subsequent problems with the US government that the Icelanders ultimately rescued him from by giving him Icelandic citizenship. In our case enthusiastically described by a very knowledgeable curator. Visit his grave just outside the town after this.
